Of course ;)

I don't think SFII has a release date yet though (I wish it was a launch game).

hey, so related and unrelated... as a total surprise No Man's Sky has received an actual Nvidia Shield port that is playable on the tablet (with a controller). If I were a betting man, I'd wager that you'll see No Man's Sky coming to The Switch. If anybody wants such a thing.

Personally I am holding off on deciding on a "pro" controller until reviews are out for both Nintendo's and Hori's. Or I may just wait for the inevitable Brook adapters. I haven't seen anyone doing preorders for Nintendo's or Hori's pro controller anyway.

But I will say that at $70 MSRP, Nintendo's controller better be the best thing ever and nigh indestructible. I don't have any amiibos save for my son's Bowser and Donkey Kong Skylanders so the NFC functionality will likely be wasted on me. The jury is also out on the value of HD rumble. Sure it sounds neat, but will devs outside of Nintendo do much with it?

hey so I think there's a Nintendo Direct thing at 5pm EST tonight that's all about Fire Emblem? I assume a bunch of you guys will watch. If so, please let me know if they announce official details about the Fire Emblem Android game?

I am hoping Nintendo will be able to get some of these large mobile devs on board. Some of them might relish a change of pace, a chance to do a $60 one-shot rather than a freemium whale-bait title. Or even a nice $30 stand-alone version of some of their mobile items adjusted not to need the freemium aspects. I mean, the Switch is Arm-based, just like those phones and tablets. There are lots of great games that would benefit from the Switch's JoyCons rather than being tethered only to a touch screen.

Wow must be new news for today as I hadn't heard of this and Shield tablet drops me news pieces on exclusive awesomeness it gets. I wouldn't be surprised either if it hit the Switch now just because the Shield can run it, and it's some notch (small or not we will learn) over it and can take android dumped data with minimal effort. Not sure I'd buy it on there to be honest, but it's another nice boon of news along with the Namco info yesterday. People seem to care about the system maker once more which is refreshing.

Maru with Nicalis on board with a definitive all encompassing Binding of Isaac release being out for $40 I would not be suprised in the least bit at all. What was once a decent click bait flash title has just kept going and growing to this point. Many of those click games could work as the joycon can be yet again another mouse pointer of sorts opening up opportunities from dopey flash games, to an intuitive way to fire a pistol or click unit(s) on a fire emblem or warcraft like map too, as would the finally multi touch pad too.

bah, right! I'm really hoping that the mobile game is like legit Fire Emblem, and that the "Warriors" part doesn't mean it's going to be Dynasty Warriors.

Anyway, saw this on Destructoid:

In addition to EA having a "wait and see" approach, and Ubisoft's "one foot in one foot out" tri-port strategy, Gearbox is just straight up not going to have one of its biggest games on the Switch at this time. Speaking on Twitter, CEO Randy Pitchford noted, when asked about a Switch port, "I do not see that as happening. We were talking to Nintendo, but that stopped for some reason. They have other priorities."

So two things - I guess that means Borderlands 3 is officially announced. And it's not going to be on Switch, which is somewhat surprising given that BL2 was ported to Vita.

I thought it was pretty much straight up confirmed it's a Dynasty Warriors thing...
