Yeah this shows that Microsoft is saying, "My bad." Does it make them any better? Eh, a little. I still won't endorse the system with a purchase. It has too many features that do not appeal to me, features that increase the cost of the system.
Sure it is a sign of weakness to go back on their word, but their word was a giant racial slur to the consumer, so, going back on it is better then nothing.

I just realized something else -- I gotta change out my sig already. Dammit M$! Popo did such a wonderful job on it too.

I don't know. I wonder how difficult it was to design and implement these features. It seems like they are reverting a lot to the way things are currently, but I wonder if making such changes to their online plans with less than six months to go before launch will cause problems.

I like the mention of region free now. This pleases me greatly.

But we will lose the cool features of trading digital copies, playing without the disc, and sharing with family members where multiple users couls play off 1 copy.
Definitel a trade off. Some of those features were intriguing.

Man, this is great news. Now they just need to pull Kinect from the package and drop it to 399 and the holidays are going to be madness.
Re: Xbox One
Good points. I was a little steamed, lol. But yeah to go back on everything that was announced at something as big as E3 is kind of hilarious. So who's to say how much weight their word today... will have tomorrow?
Re: Xbox One
My confidence in them, completely gone now, sorry MS.

Money talks. Look at the lop-sided next gen preorders and the pole from Amazon.

Exactly. And we're just going to go through the same song and dance next generation. Digital only is coming, and you cannot prevent it from happening.
