Basically, items are worth points, and complete sets raise your multiplier.

You definitely completed one or two sets in that run. Very nice progress.

So that's why I was getting "X2" after the point values on items. I really need to read up more on this game!

Ah crap, I'm slacking this month. I have off Thursday and Friday this week, so maybe I can get my name up on that list! Appreciate all the scoring tips, gang!

I was watching a few videos of people playing because I thought I might take an approach similar to Dragon Blaze where you use charge shot frequently. For Dimahoo, it seems that I need to pay much more attention to the type of enemy I'm fighting. Some of them are really hard to tell whether they're weak to cold or fire because they're not red or blue.

Stage 4 boss is a wall bastard. Also got a few decent scores with Grimlen, he has potential.

This being a game that can give me the fits pretty quickly after about 20 bad runs in 2 hours a la Dragon Blaze, I find it best to attempt it after every few days playing other stuff elsewhere (today it was Zombie Revenge on Dreamcast after watching the latest Game Sack video)

So yeah, anyway, improvement!

You heard right, Stage *4*. Not saying Stage 3 boss was cake by any means, but I managed to retain a few bombs by using charge shots and got a better score as a result.

All I need to do is remember the 4-5 big items and keep on completing the Food and Shoes and I'll get a 2 mil score. I know I can!

1. Boss.
--Destroy the TAIL DRILL with Lv3 Shot and Lv5+ MAGIC to release FAIRY OF WOODS.

^Nice info. I was wondering why I wasn't always getting the Busturtle Bonus, despite a charge shot kill.

Played only 2 runs each the past 2 days. Nothing to report, sirs.

Hoping to put an hour or so in tonight.

So, killing dudes is a much better way to raise your meter than trying to charge it all the way up, at least after stage one.

I only had one set complete for that 2.7, so with some luck I think I can break 3mil
