I'm really fascinated with this track right now that Flying Lotus has remixed.

It seems to simultaneously hold together paradoxically juxtaposed musical ideas. It is soft and lovely in its instrumentation, yet spikey and angular in its cut ups and sound manipulations. It is full and soulful in its vocals, yet fragmented and fractured in its rhythmic center. It is relaxed and dreamy, yet at the same time jittery and anxious. And somehow all of these diametrically opposed feelings don't pull the song apart and leave behind a tangled mess. It is instead some strangely beautiful musical concoction, unified in the balance of its opposing forces. Even the title lyric "Lost where I belong" breathes with that same dialectical tension. I just keep listening to it over and over because it feels so improbable that it would work as well as it does, and I'm left with that wonderful old feeling of hearing something new.

Great track. I like Flying Lotus a lot.
