PangaeaPanga completed Super Mario World in 23 minutes while blindfolded. It took him a few days of practice, but he has mastered this impressive but slightly useless skill of playing games without looking at the screen.
It looks genuine so I will leave my cynicism at the door.

Jurassic Park: The Chaos Continues on the SNES is also really, really good.

Words cannot express how hilarious I find this.

The fact that it got Greenlighted made me laugh out loud.
To be fair, Ninty have made playing cards in the intervening 126 years.

I'm a big fan of the Ocean Jurassic Park for DOS. Good stuff there.
I also like the PS1/Saturn Lost World game a lot. Though before I'd recommend it to anybody I'd urge they get the Greatest Hits PS1 release, since they fixed a lot of the problems that made that game frustrating.

The point was to admire the consistency of their original intent persisting up to this day.
Speaking of Nintendo though:

There's probably a proper
Metroid in development for the "NX".

Yeah, they're just waiting for the right time to drop it. It's gonna be the Half Li... wait, bad comparison. It's gonna be like when S-E dropped that FFVII remake business.

I have a feeling that when the next console Zelda is published, it's going to be a cross-gen release like Twilight Princess was. You know, how it was released on Game Cube and Wii. I think the next Zelda will be released both on Wii U and the Nintendo Next or whatever it's going to be called. It makes the most sense all things considered.
I know that if I personally were a Wii U owner, I'd be feeling let down right now. There are a few really nice exclusives on the Wii U so far, but honestly not enough to justify owning the system full price in my eyes. There's a feeling in the air like Nintendo just wants to wrap up the Wii U by early 2016 and move on as quickly as possible. I understand why that is, but it would still sting a bit if I personally owned a Wii U that I had bought full price in good faith.
At this point I think the Nintendo Next platforms are going to consist of a console and handheld that are closely similar in design. So much so that games developed for the console are easily scaled down for the handheld model. To me that makes the most sense as to why Nintendo was so keen to consolidate their console and handheld divisions together. Perhaps they are going to release the same games on both platforms simultaneously, letting the end user choose better graphics or portability as the decision making factor. Perhaps the extremely similar Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U releases were a way of gauging this possibility.
