been sick lately and havent been able to go hunting for anything, was feeling up to it tonight and got a couple things:

psOne console with hookups and controller 9.99
Crimson Skies (xbox) .49 (I figured for that price I couldnt lose)
"High Frequency" brand Sega Saturn controller 2.99, looks to be alright very similar in design to the model 2 saturn controller.

Funny story about the Saturn controller:
The cashier mentioned that he purchased the Saturn that this controller was with when it came in as a trade in for about $10 with the box! He then said that he got some Genesis games untill he can find some Saturn games, then he mentions that they have a couple Sega CD games he is thinking of picking up. I had to burst his bubble and let him know that he would be wasting his money to use those on the Saturn since they wouldnt work. He seemed surprised to find out what was actually meant to go into that cart slot, and that SCD games would definitely not work.

i always thought it would be cool if some skilled modder could mod that slot to actually take genesis carts

Sarcasm doesn't translate over the net.

Smokin' deal man. CD games are a pain in the ass to track down for a reasonable price.

Glad to know they are worth something. I got two extras to part with here soon. Took me months to find the Model 2. I guess it was worth the wait for the SCD model 2 as it came with the uncommon Model1 genesis adapter on it. :o

Years ago when I found my first Saturn at a thrift store, I thought the same thing.
Fortunately it turned out to be a pretty sweet machine even without this backwards compatibility. 8)

^I'd say its a pretty amazing deal. You paid roughly the price of mario party and mario kart 64 together.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

Yeah, you'd have to have pretty high standards to not consider that a great deal.
