I had wanted to participate more this year, but...I haven't been able to play anything since about May. I'll be damned if I'm gonna miss this month though! (Having to relearn everything notwithstanding...)

Starting to get a better idea of how scoring goes. Still having trouble gauging when my reflect meter is usable.

Whenever it says, "Okay." It's an audible cue.

Oh. A majority of the time, I play with the volume down low, so I never even heard it.

No-miss stages 1 to 4. 8)

It'd be nice if there were a couple of score-extends in this. As it is, I think there's just one extend available in Stage 4, and that only appears if you're on your last life.

Never been a fan of this one. Music is boring. Controls lack precision. Most importantly - the bullets and the background...I just can't make it out. I never see them - it feels like I randomly explode. Meh.

Humm, I've never noticed this. Not saying you're wrong, but it hasn't bothered me personally. I actually like this game; not my favorite all time by any means but I do find it enjoyable.

Of course, I'm not a fan of several Saturn shmups that a lot of people love, so to each his own :)

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.

slight improvement, didn't realize how much bomb stock at boss clear and keeping chain through entire stage affected score - doubled my previous score by middle of stage 2.

645,177,344,110 - mjmjr25 - stage 3 (boss) - Ruby - DC

No need for pic, last place, and now that I guess I understand better i'm sure I can hit a trillion at least, will put more time in this weekend.

Maybe the controls are just the d-pad, but it feels really herky jerky. Though, I seem to recall the same thing when i've used the agetec. The reflect barrier seems inconsistent too - just seems more delayed on DC than on CPS2.
