Smile: Had a nice vacation visiting friends and camping in Yosemite. My hoodie smells deliciously smoky from the campfires too.

Unsmile: Home and back to work tomorrow.

Ticked - Had to buy an air compressor* last night which means my fun money is tapped until next paycheck. And our Weedwhacker is having trouble starting.

Smiled - After mowing the yard last night, my wife and I sat down next to the fire pit and burned a large pile of brush she cut down a few weeks ago and then we went inside and watched Dr Who. Tonight, we will be doing the same, unless the rain hits early. We have two sections of the backyard that were not cut since they had brush on them and the before mentioned weedeater is broken. But the people who had the house before us apparently did not believe in yard work so there are some nice piles of downed branches we get to burn.

Ticked - My college computer gaming club's biyearly LAN party is this weekend, found out about it yesterday and we have plans for this weekend already.

Smiled - After talking with several other older members of the club, we are going to hop on Steam on Saturday night and play either Half Life Deathmatch or one of the other games we use to kill each other in.

*Husky 8 gallon air compressor is on sale at Home Depot right now for $130. I bought the last one they had in stock at mine (they are apparently going quick). I was going to buy a 3 gallon for $100, but for $30 more I got 5 more gallons in the tank and it is on wheels.

I get it, yet I don't. Obviously she is an attention whore, but why go about getting said attention by being a whore? She obviously doesn't have any financial problems, so maybe she aspired to be a porn star?
I don't know what it is, but a lot of people are this way nowadays. As long it gets you money and fame, its ok to do. Doesn't matter if it takes low morals, as long as you're popular!

Meh, all this prom talk as of late is making me that much more lonely and pissed off.

Huge Smile: I won the appeal hearing and will be getting the full 26 weeks of unemployment benefits. The corporate lawyer representing the store obviously didn't know what was really going on beforehand (i.e. their lying and saying I said and did things that I didn't), because the second he realized where my lawyer's line of questioning was going, he caved. Took about thirty seconds once it was my lawyer's turn to question my former boss. I didn't even have to testify (although I was sworn in on the assumption that I would). The money's gonna be nice after being broke for months, but the moral victory was more important to me and we definitely got that, so all's well that ends well.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

:D :D :D :D WENT TO DISNEY HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS TODAY!! My brother's ex's grandmother, who works for them, got some passes and got us all in.. for FREE! She, my brother, his girlfriend, his ex-girlfriend (again, her grandmother got us in), and three of the girls (my bro's daughter with his ex, his ex's daughter and my bro's current girlfriend's daughter from a previous relationship) and myself went. My brother talked me into riding Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Rollercoaster (the first time I rode a rollercoaster in almost a decade!), as well as the movie ride they do. I also attended the Beauty and the Beast thing they do, since my niece loves it (she's the oldest of the girls, turning 3 this August). That part was loud and I didn't enjoy it as much.

:( My mom stayed behind to watch my brother's daughter with his current GF and to make some calls to clear up the thing that popped up on her background check her at Vista Del Lago, but she still has some work to do.

:?: Hopefully, I can get to WalMart tomorrow and get a few things I need. Also gonna check the thrift stores for a microwave, and possibly a toaster.

Do yourself a favor and purchase a toaster oven instead. Cheaper, more efficient, easier to clean, and better tasting results.

Smile: Cocktails with my wife on the patio.

Frown: She was asleep by 9:00pm.

Phase 1 of "getting her tipsy" was a success.

Phase 2... Not so much.
