Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
This is just bullshit.
I go to a lot of flea markets in the summertime. I consider most of the games I buy there 'finds'. But not all of them are OMG WTF pull my hair out special finds. So they don't belong in 'thread one'. They don't belong in 'thread two' either. I bought them on a flea market. No 'life or death' or 'drove 5000 miles' stories here. They also don't belong in 'thread three' since they are no common new purchases either...
Pff, WTF...

sounds like you'd make good use of the games acquired thread (#3), then. That thread isn't reserved for new purchases or common games only, and stories are completely optional.elmagicochrisg wrote:This is just bullshit.

I like the idea of the three threads. This one has run its course, it was a good run. This needs to be locked because some people will continue to not get the memo about this thread if they don't see these posts.
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
i really think this is meddling with something that doesn't need to be meddled with.

Locking a +1000 page thread, just like that...

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
would a week long poll be a fair way to handle it?

To be honest I love this thread. I've read every page since just this past summer. But I also like the idea of 3 threads.elmagicochrisg wrote:Locking a +1000 page thread, just like that...

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Whenever I would have a spectacular find like that (panzer dragoon saga for $1 etc) I would probably actually make my own thread about it, rather than post it in some master thread.
