Welcome to the Racketboy family, man. You're gonna fit right in here. :D I totally agree with you about the awesomeness of the Neo-Geo Pocket Color's Joystick; it's positively heavenly. But, there's one thing that should be kept in mind. The PSP's stick is analog, not digital, so they can't easily make it do the clicking sound, but Sony certainly could have made it more comfortable.

As per your question about Faseli!, if you look in the right places, and don't expect Complete in Box condition, you can find the game relatively cheap. I got my copy for about $10~$15, cart and plastic cart holder only.

Also, if I may make a recommendation for the up-and-coming NGPC fan, try tracking down a copy of Biomotor Unitron. It's certainly the best RPG for the system, and dare I say, one of the best portable RPGs of the era [and that includes the Game Boy Color]! It's a bit pricey compared to the bargain-bin cost of other NGPC games, but it's more than worth it.

Hello everyone Sunny California.

It's summer time which means hiding inside like a Morlock while the sun is up playing videogames and browsing the internet.

I own a Genesis + PBC + Sega CD, N64, NES, Dreamcast, DSi, and GBC.
Never really been a big fan of most of the Nintendo stuff out there besides Pokemon but I've always loved Sega stuff.
So yea.

I'm Jonah, 15 years old, living in Finland.

I love retro games, and my favorite retro consoles are Super Nintendo and the Sega Megadrive. Sadly i have not had the chance to play some of the more obscure consoles, but i'd like to change that one day.
I also like modern games, but usually i'm playing the older ones because they provide more challenge, and there's more originality. Games are becoming too easy, and most companies are catering to a casual audience, just because they'll make more money that way, and i find it sad. However, it's good that there are still games like Devil may cry which are keeping the challenge up, but even that went towards an easier direction with the 4th installment.
Rockstar and Capcom are my favorite videogame companies.
Of the current generation of consoles, i like the PS3 the best.

Here are of some of my favorite games. Just a few that pop into my head right now, to display my general taste in games.

Battletoads(NES version)
Black tiger
Castlevania bloodlines
Contra series
Devil may cry series
Galerians
Gradius III
Grand theft auto series
Legend of the mystical ninja
Little Samson
Manhunt
Mickey Mania - The timeless adventure of Mickey Mouse(PSone version, when i was a kid some asshole stole this from me.)
Ninja gaiden series
Shinobi series
Smash Tv
Spawn(snes)
Strider
Tenchu series
U.N Squadron

Hey guys, what's happenin'? Name's *censored*.

Thought I'd join this place 'cause of my interest in retro games. I'm not really old (still just a teen), so my knowledge of "Classic Gaming" pretty much goes back to the N64 days. I'm hoping to learn a good bit here, though. Kind of a Nintendo fanboy, too. Maybe this'll help me broaden my horizons. :D

Thanks for welcoming me into your forum!

Well hello there! I'm obviously new, so I figure I should go ahead and introduce myself! I'm a 23 year old gamer from Ontario (Canada, not Califonia) and I absolutely love this site! I'm a senior forum member of The Cover Project and Famicom World, the only one stop source for all things Famicom for the English speaking world. I can speak (and somewhat read Japanese) and I am a huge Rockman/Megaman fan, espically of the Classic and X series. I'm also a somewhat skilled modder.

Nice to meet you guys!

Cheers!

My name is Kev. I'm a 26 year old writer living in the metro Atlanta area. I have been a video game freak since I got my first system, a Sega Genesis, at age 10. I currently own 5 systems: the previously mentioned Genesis, PS2 (silver slimline), Original Xbox, Sega Saturn and Super Nintendo. I am going to add some more systems once I have the money. I'm into anime ("Akira", "Ghost In The Shell" and "Naruto" are my faves), alternative rock and techno (especially Drum 'N Bass). My favorite game of all time is "Sonic The Hedgehog".
