CRTGAMER wrote:The GoodNot everything is bad at Gamestop. They are the best deal for used games and accessories locally. I just bought a
Gamecube Component Cable for $4.99 at Gamestop!

Here is the SKU: 900572.
I posted the entire story back at the Video Game Finds Thread.

Went in today to see if they had a Hori Controller for the Gamecube. I didn't see one near the Gamecube or Wii stuff, but they also keep accessories behind the counter so I went up to ask the guy. He tells me he never heard of it. So I then spelled it for him, thinking he'd type it up in the computer. He must have taken it as an insult because he replies very callously: "Maybe it's just the rest of us have moved on to the current-generation." Funny thing is, I had The Darkness for XBox 360 in my hand, too. Which The Darkness was the good part, only $4.99 for a complete copy!
Great way to keep customers, insult them for liking products that you actually sell.

^ I would have held up the game and shook it in his face....then asked to speak to a manager. Funny for someone who's so high-and-mighty to not know that you need Gamecube controllers to play Gamecube games on the
Wii. And some of us don't ditch a console just because a newer model comes out

He'd probably have insulted him for having a wii anyway.

The Bad and UglyWhere's Inazuma?Call of Duty is getting as bad as Guitar Hero or Madden with all the repeats. On top of an annual new version of a game series, has anyone notice the latest upsale tactic by Gamestop? Buy a one year membership in advance to get planned future DLC to be released as installments. I know its nice to get new features, but this is too obvious of maps and levels that are held back from the initial sale of the game disc.
Throw away another $49.99 you fool!

So today my old lady gave me a belated birthday gift from Gamestop, which happened to be Hyperdimension Neptunia (had to try it after Noise's praise/it sounded interesting) and I noticed that it was actually sealed. Kinda nice to see a Gamestop game that was purchased new and has never been opened.

You called? You wanna hear me rant a bit?
This is why people like me hate Call of Duty. The game itself may be a decent FPS, but there is much more to it than that. Releasing the game every year with minor changes, DLC up the ass, season pass for DLC to trick you into believing that you got it for cheap, and online pass too. And the game itself looks so ugly! This game is a shining example of everything that is wrong with today's game industry.
It's so obvious that Call of Duty is nothing more than a gray and brown dildo-shaped tool that Activision uses to rape their customers as much as possible. However, despite being one of the most harmful game series to the games industry, it sells more than anything else. These casual gamers have no idea the amount of harm they are doing when they play Call of Duty.
Fuck CoD, fuck Activision and fuck Gamestop. And one last fuck goes out to all the uninformed casual gamers who support all of this bullshit.
