What Ticked me off today?
I was excited to have bought some Sega CD games from the JMustang Sale Thread and am totally stoked. Post it on facebook and my rich, out-of-touch-with-reality aunt writes,
"Enjoy the little boy spending for as long as you can. Adult budgeting has to come eventually and isn't nearly as fun. Have fun!"
This is coming from a woman who goes to Disney World more than once a month.
What made me smile today?
My Wife's Response.
"Jon and I have paid for my education while he worked retail and are now living on one income while he goes to school. All of this with much less credit card debt than most people our age. our ability to budget is something that our friends and family praise us for. We live within our means and when we want something that is nonessential we wait for sales or a holiday to purchase it. Jon enjoys games and I doubt that he will stop enjoying games. There is no reason for him to be negatively judged for his choice of hobbies and we definitely don't need to be told how to spend our money."
I love my wife.
P.S. I spent $8

Probably would've said something along these lines: "Still going to Disney World once a month?... Enjoy the little girl spending for as long as you can. Adult budgeting has to come eventually and isn't nearly as fun. Have fun!"
But your wife's comment is just as good of course...

I was picking on BMF.
Poor JMustang is shouldering the load right now, but I did a lot of work with individual games last week. Next week we'll be able to even out the work load properly. It was also better for him to start the thread as I can edit with mod powers so we can both adjust things as needed.
