I've been lead to believe that Dragon Quarter is a very divisive with some mechanics that people loathe.

I played a bit of Granstream Saga. It was playable, but I would take Breath of Fire III over it in a heartbeat. That one was actually quite fun. Trying out the different dragon forms was what caught my attention the most.
I think Granstream Saga was made by ex-Quartet members? Its not the greatest of games, but it certainly has charm.
So, I gave up on Mother. The game isn't bad by any means, but it felt like it only had 1/3 the charm of Earthbound, if that. I think I'll skip it and just play Earthbound and Mother 3, and then perhaps I'll feel like coming back to this one.
Started playing Ys (again), just got the first Book. That centipede guy is a bitch. I've played through this one recently, but never hit up 2, so that is the goal this time. I want to get these done before I start Oath on the Vita, but I'm tempted to just play em both at once, since I don't have access to Books I & II at work.
Also playing Diablo III co-op with the gf. We just downed Belial and entered Act III. I've been pleasantly surprised by this game. Its not a life-sucking Wow-esk adventure, but more of a great Champions-esk couch co-op. Having a blast with it, and the lady has been wanting to play it just about every day, which is a huge plus. THis is basically our new Gauntlet/PSO.

Still working my way through Link Between Worlds. Might have to grind a bit to save up for some better gear and up my stats.
