^

I'm hard pressed to think of many jobs that don't require a mobile phone. At least jobs that pay well.

Waiting for the post of "I only use land-line phones, use AOL on my dial-up internet, and only use the internet to check my myspace status and my geocities page."

_______

I still giggle when playing Super Star Wars, as Chewbecca, and having him crouch and shoot his crossbow in an upward angle.

If you've played the series you know exactly what I'm talking about.

I'd be impressed by anybody checking myspace status nowadays, since myspace has become a music website.

I'd argue the only reason Blackberry's still around is inertia from when they were THE phone to have if you wanted email.

But there's a lot of jobs that pay well that don't require a cell phone. Tech industry comes to mind. Worst case you're part of an on-call rotation and carry a pager and structure your life during on-call week.

You don't say?
 ........... :( ......... = My Reaction

See, I always preferred having a close group of friends instead of having a ton of people that I semi-know.

Unless you are out of the office all day, I don't know why you need a cell phone for work. I sit in a cube for 8 hours a day doing computer and programming work, so there is no point in me having one especially since my work phone is an arm's reach away.

But, I'm like 10 years behind the times on everything, so it's no problem for me. There are times when I wished I had a cellphone, but those are few and far between.

I'm mostly just ticked that the $20 Flashback systems are gone. I never picked up the Atari one. :?

Same...i thought it was odd even when my dad had one when I was younger for work(in case they needed to reach him for some odd reason instead of using a cell phone at the time for it). Those were stranger than cell phones to me then and now
