In Vanda's Room is currently playing on TCM...I really don't know what to think. It seems far too recent to be on, but I guess they needed a foreign/pseudo-documentary block.

Might not want to judge someone by one picture. I also have no issues with women who are thin. Prefer them I do.

It takes all types for sure. There is a too thin for me though. I should have said 'based on this single picture'. The facial expression and body language in that picture says 'not nice' to me, but that's a horribly judgemental call based on one picture. She might be a perfectly pleasant women. I'm just saying it doesn't entice me to look for more and I shan't be fantasizing about her.

Thin is good, but I hate unhealthy.
There are some people who are incredibly skinny but look healthy (me) and there are other people who look malnourished and sickly when they're thin.
Put me in the camp that thinks she should have a few sandwiches, at least based on that picture.

Older. Not wiser.

Reading body language is an important survival instinct and thus he's perfectly justified in his assessment at first glance, given that that's the only visual representation he has to judge upon. I agree, whoever that is, from that picture alone tells me having a conversation with that person would be a mistake.

Am I the only one that thinks she's making the "I've got to get to the bathroom before I poop myself" face?

I think asking her "So...Um. How's your Dad?" would be the furthest thing from making a mistake.

I dunno man. She probably wants to be liked for who she is, not who her father is. I can see her getting annoyed with guys chatting her up and then only wanting to talk about her father.

Well that goes without saying. As a married man I'd rather talk about her Dad than try to get in her pants. I do think she can be very photogenic and beautiful though.
