So much OC in my ears today. Word...Life, and Jewelz are two of my all time favorite albums and I can't get enough of OC's classic flow.

More specifically, though, since I hadn't listened to much modern OC, i've been listening to his collaboration with Apollo Brown with their album, Trophies.

I haven't heard Trophies, but OC is awesome. Word... Life is a classic. My fav thing he's ever done though is prob the iteration of Crooklyn Dodgers that he was in. Whoo!

Ack asked me when I'd be doing more writeups in this thread. I actually had intended a slew of them for Oct. I had a big pile of horror-related CD's I wanted to review, but I got so busy this month and all free time went into playing games and watching horror movies. Sorry y'all.

And now you have November in which to listen to horrorcore, son. Get to it.

lol, this is my problem every year... Oct, Nov, Dec end up being really busy for me between holidays and an urge to finally get around to remaining games released this year that I had intended to play. But I'm sure I'll sneak in some writeups as well. I've been listening to Mobb Deep's Free Agents the last couple days in my car, so...

Ah, Crooklyn Dodgers so good. Now i'm thinking the rest of my daily commute will consist of either Jeru or Chubb Rock.

Yeah buddy, get on some more write ups in the near future. Though, you certainly have to prioritize and i'm still going through some of your older ones.

Someone lied to you.
If it's him, it's him. I just didn't want to pretend I knew it was, since it's hard to tell and I had read it was not him.

I like Die Antwoord's appropriation-of-ugly-for-fashion visual artistry, but I really don't care much for their music. Boom Fatty Boom Boom was a pretty good track, but even then I like them a lot more with a video than with just audio. Since Aphex Twin is apparently writing some of the music on their new album, will have to see how that all turns out.
