What I was getting at is, I could see GameStop changing their used price for Metroid Prime Trilogy.
Which is pretty much outside of the eBay circuit for the newer versions and original versions of Metroid Prime Trilogy.
I could see that happening on GameStop's side. It is very well possible that there could be a reduction in price. But I could also see them keep the price the same and selling Digital Vouchers like they do now for digital games in store. This will depend on if Nintendo will allow that to happen. Knowing GameStop they will do what they can to make money of any kind of high value Nintendo property. I mean look at Pikmin 3 right now in store. 55+ for used copies when they have it and possible could keep going up depending on the market.
I think the safest bet now in the "Nintendo market" is if you really want the game or now amiibo. Buy it new cause who knows what the hell the value will be down the line lol. I know it is hard to buy everything new for a lot of people. I mean I am a deal hunter like everybody else, but I understand the Nintendo collectable tax if you follow my drift.
I find it interesting since some of the hard to find games that have been receiving reprints, thus affecting the rarity/value, may be affected by the news that Nintendo is making Wii games available on the eShop.
If this had occurred sooner, we likely wouldn't have seen MPT, Xenoblade, etc... reprinted and thus they would still remain hard to find.
That is a very interesting point you bring up and could very well be true if it was sooner like you said. But for the reprints that Gamestop has made and sold have been selling from what I can tell in my area. That's why I don't think the value will drop as much or at all.
To me it is like when they re-released EarthBound on the Wii U. Everybody thought it would drop the value and really it did nothing to it at all if anything it just went up more. I think some times, but not all the time; a Digital re-release can drive up the price of the physical item, because the first time digital user might just want to really own it because they liked it so much. I have seen that from time to time.

I got very lucky getting this one of ebay in a lot of other games with 2 wiimotes and a nunchuk for like $35 shipped. Its missing the manual but oh well.
another one I don't see on GameStop is Mr. Bean

Likewise, Gamestop does not appear to sell Gunslingers or Guilty Gear XX^Core+. (It sold Gunslingers "new" at one point, but it does not appear to have a SKU for pre-owned copies of the game.)

I don't know how true this is but apparently the Plus variant of Guilty Gear is lumped into the same SKU at Gamestop. I cannot confirm this myself but I've read that online (I believe at CAG).

They definitely sold Guilty Gear Accent Core +, I bought it there with the soundtrack for $10.
They used to have a lot of copies, then they had one of those "get rid of the goddamn wii games" sales, and they were gone.

I'm still waiting for the "get rid of the goddam Wii games" sale here. My local EB Games has like 12 copies of Kirby's Dream Collection, just sitting there behind the counter at full pop. They've been there forever, collecting dust.

Yea, glad I grabbed one and still have it sealed. It's around $60 on both Amazon and eBay now.

I think they did. There's a used but very clean copy right now at my closest gamestop.
I had a little conversation with SNKNicotine about this. Because he bought one.
I believe we need to investigate a little about this.
