Since desk grazing is a bad habit for me while working, I have transitioned to at least healthy options when engaging in heavy work-

http://www.bradsrawchips.com/our-produc ... nasty-hot/

It's kinda expensive but freaking delicious. The cost is prohibitive enough to where I don't just jam it all in my face like cheap sweets.

But yea, the raw kale and kale chips brand from Brad's are very well made, fresh tasting with no preservatives and always flavorful.

Duder, you can make those yourself for pennies on the dollar.

I use ^ this recipe.

You can also make incredible hummus for around a buck.

Ah sweet tech man. I dunno if I can self-motivate to into making my own kale chips (with vegan cheese which blends excellently and makes this brand I eat really tasty) at this time, with other hobbies etc. eating up all my non-family time... but it is certainly something I will add to my list-of-things-to-accomplish for myself. Looks fairly easy from just the kale preparation standpoint though.

However, I still am appreciating the dichotomy that the cost of Brad's is creating for my snacking habits/snacking money. It is helping me be mindful of how much I am spending on boredom snacking and is actually helping a little on the psychological approach to breaking old habits :)

So thanks for the intel, but Brad's is still legit if you are in a pinch and want a ridiculously healthy and tasty snack!

Man, now I want to eat something "violently smothered" in meat. :(

You could make some spaghetti and then reload some 12 gauge shotgun shells with meat sauce and apply it from the other side of the kitchen. Or perhaps grill some steaks or burgers, load them on a catapult or trebuchet, and then stand downrange with your bun or bed of vegetables on a plate. Slim Jim arrows fired at a loaf of bread? Wait no, that's not actually meat.

Sounds like a YouTube series that I would watch.

I prefer the 20 gauge - I find I get a more even spread. Then again, my kitchen's pretty small.

That can be arranged. Though 12 gauge shooting sauce is probably not going to happen. We could do some fun things with tubing and air pressure firing slimjims though.
