I remember toilet paper coming in pastel colors, yes. Can't say I've seen any in years, not that I've been looking.Luke wrote:Does anyone else remember powder blue toilet paper? Is it still available?

Pretty sure the dyes caused infections for some women and that's why you don't see it anymore. But I thought you could still find some type of fancy pants toilet paper somewhere.Hobie-wan wrote: I remember toilet paper coming in pastel colors, yes. You made me think of Apollo 13 accident when the inside of the ship was ice code to conserve power. One of the astronauts reflected on how when they slept, their own body heat acted as blanket. As soon as they moved, the heat would dissipate. Maybe the dust "sticks" to each other or on the surfaces unless disturbed?Hobie-wan wrote:How does dust behave in ships in orbit and the space station? Does it still settle in grooves on equipment or is it a big problem with it just floating around all the time?

Actually it floats, and because bathing is difficult in zero-G, the amount of dead skin cells floating in the air can become hazardous to the ship's functioning and crew health. Spaceships have to be cleaned often and the air put through filtration systems so that excess particles can be removed.Hobie-wan wrote:How does dust behave in ships in orbit and the space station? Just found out my father was in jail for about a week when I was a kid. At the time he had told me he was going on a fishing trip. wtf.

Nope. Just for being a drunk arsehole apparently.

...that could have been amazing. Like if he drunkenly stole a police car and drove it through the front window of a donut shop.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Nope. Just for being a drunk arsehole apparently.
Just saying.

Kinda similar, I found out a few years ago that my dad apparently named me after Damon Killian from The Running Man.
Makes me feel like that in some small way I share a kinship with Smash TV.
