Nintendo 3DS
Re: Nintendo 3DS
I will be picking up an xl for sure, I had been planning on getting a second one for my fiance since I got mine at launch, and that waiting has paid off. I wish we got a better selection of colors though, I guess red it is since I have the aqua blue 3ds.

It's cute. I wouldn't buy one, but I don't mind it.

I guess I just find eye-stabbing yellow to be unappealing.ZenErik wrote:It's cute. I wouldn't buy one, but I don't mind it.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Anyone use a flash card for DS games on their 3DS? Any recommendations? I was thinking about the DStwo because of GBA emulation but I dunno... (mainly because I'm finally getting ready to upgrade from my DSlite).

The official R4 3DS card plays DS games just fine. Just not 3DS games. I forget the exact name. Let me check..D.D.D. wrote:Anyone use a flash card for DS games on their 3DS? Any recommendations? No clue about GBA emulation or any other emulation on the 3DS.

Oh that's right... 3DS is gonna have frequent firmware updates... Maybe I should just get a DSiXL instead. The 3DS would be so much more convenient though.ZenErik wrote:The official R4 3DS card plays DS games just fine. Just not 3DS games. I forget the exact name. I saw the DSTwo that has a GBA emulator... Don't know if it's gotten any better though.

much cheaper than the DStwo.
however when i got it it wasn't recognized so i had to update it...
i took it over to a local gamestop and pretended i wanted to check out one of the DS XLs. then i put it in and updated it in front of the guy working there
it worked out though. i had ketsui death label on the card to test it out and the guy was like "yeah i have all the region free 360 CAVE ports" so i let him play it
but there's already been another 3DS firmware update since then so i just have to wait for the Acekard team to release an update for the card before I can update the 3DS (otherwise i'll have to pay gamestop another visit)
