This last week has been great. Just sniped a guy on a dreamcast lot and picked up another dreamcast coders cable.

Here is the dreamcast coders cable
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... 500wt_1413
total of $10.75 shipped

After that earlier today I just scored big! After watching Adam Koralik talk about his dreamcast broadband adapter and how he got it in a dreamcast lot I was driven to search all of ebay until I found a lot with one. I found this post

I got the dreamcast broadband adapter plus all the other cool stuff for $143.25 shipped.
I'm psyched to be able to play phantasy star with people and start my developing for the dreamcast.

Also what is up with this guy?

He first had the katana at $200 starting bid, and $500 buy it now. But now he has it at $500 starting bid and $700 buy it now as of right now 11:28pm CST.

Another thing I found was this, which looks awesome but I wonder what his reserve is it.

It is nuts how pricing varies. Gamestop sells Wii Metroid Trilogy used at seventy bucks which is just a little less then online prices. However PlaynTrade sells it used or new for forty dollars.

You suck sir. :P

Saw one a while back for $15, but it had no manual so I passed. Haven't seen another since.

 Oh crap so close! Maybe try the Battle I did and get one shipped down?

Thanks for the comments, I thought the Rant story might be interesting to share. I think part of the satisfaction in getting two CIB copies of an uncommon game is the search. :D

I'm surprised I didn't get more comments on my Vectrex collection back on page 1000.

Keep in mind, thing with Play N Trade is that it's a franchise store. Pricing varies from location to location.

Proof?
I'll have to ask that next time I go down to my local PlaynTrade. Even though a "franchise", it seems they still have to answer to their Corporate office, one that determines product and prices. The price for Metroid Trilogy was in the system and not just a sticker on the case. In this case both new and used show $39.99. I suspect this game slipped by and never got the price increase based on market value. As in Cubivore, good to shop around for the best value.

One thing I like about Gamestop is the online search. it shows current price and which stores have it in stock. PlaynTrade does not have an online search from a home computer and I don't think they ship between stores. However, they have a great reserve system. My name is in the local PlaynTrade computer in case a few games get traded in, it flags to hold the game and call the customer. A one up over a binder or sticky note.

OK went to a Thrift store today and picked up Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World both for SNES for $5 each (both cartridge only, nice labels), Tetris for Original Gameboy (cartridge only, nice label) for $2. They also have about 8 or so Boxed Intellivision games. The boxes are in the condition to be expected for a thin Cardboard box that old. Some of the Titles were Nfl Football, MLB Baseball, Poker/Blackjack, Armored Battle or something to that effect and I can't remember the others. Now they are wanting $5 each for those games, should I pick them up or is anyone here interested in them?? If so pm me. I didn't get them because I have never played an Intellivision and really have no interest but if it's something someone here collects I can go back and get them. Thanks

That Vecrex haul is nothing short of amazing, CRT. I was the proud owner of x3 Vectrex units at one time(down to 2 now), but not for $90 total. Nutty!

I rarely seek out a specific title - however, after just gushing over Pro Gear, I was really wanting something similar (scoring, graphically, horizontal, etc). I set my sights on Deathsmiles and Akai Katana after talking shop w/a few buds. After a couple weeks, a Deathsmiles popped up on AO - worked a deal, shipped from UK to here and here it is. Emphatically pleased:
