Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I hate it when sellers list the condition of a game as "used".

Sometimes when I list something on eBay the ONLY options it gives me are "new" or "used" instead of the usual "Acceptable" "Very Good" etc. I am not sure what triggers one classification over the other, but it may not be the seller's fault.BurningDoom wrote:I hate it when sellers list the condition of a game as "used".

Also when they say it's RARE but it's as common/uncommon as an Atari 2600 cartridgeBurningDoom wrote:I hate it when sellers list the condition of a game as "used".

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
The mention of Gamecube prices going up in another thread inspired me to check on the going rate of Wind Waker, since I still don't have it. I knew it had gone from being a $20 game to a $30 one, but apparently it's gone from that to $50 just in the last six months.
Why oh why did I not buy it earlier? I always figured TP would be the more expensive of the two GCN Zeldas, since it sold far fewer. Well, maybe the price will drop sometime. *crosses fingers*

TP is such an odd one. Most people seem to forget it even exists. I imagine its price is being kept down thanks to how common the Wii version is.BoringSupreez wrote:The mention of Gamecube prices going up in another thread inspired me to check on the going rate of Wind Waker, since I still don't have it. I'm suprised how much Gamecube prices have jumped... Wind Waker especially, for whatever odd reason. Luckily, I already have Wind Waker and the OOT Master Disc. Sadly though, I have a Greatest Hits Version.AppleQueso wrote:TP is such an odd one. Most people seem to forget it even exists. My TP is disc only.

That has been what's kept me away from pretty much any Nintendo-made title on the GC so far. I can get third party titles (even 2 at a time) for $10 or less. Any Mario/Zelda/Metroid/Whatever? $20 and up.Forlorn Drifter wrote:I'm suprised how much Gamecube prices have jumped... Wind Waker especially, for whatever odd reason. Metroid? Really? Mario and Zelda can be a bit pricy here, but the Prime games are like £5.ExedExes wrote:That has been what's kept me away from pretty much any Nintendo-made title on the GC so far. Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I don't know about other places, but the GC Metroid games are still under $10. Or, at least around here they are. The most expensive game I'm still looking for is Tales of Symphonia, which is around the $40-50 range. My local store, however has somehow acquired 2 copies of it. I've built up a couple of 25% off coupons from them, and the store allows you to combine them, so some day soon I'm going to go over there and grab one of those suckers.alienjesus wrote:Metroid? I still need Pikmin as well. But I may opt for the Wii version of that.

What bugs me is when an auction is "LIKE NEW" and then the description says "CARTRIDGE ONLY - in LIKE NEW CONDITION!" or "No case or manual, but looks like it was never played!"ExedExes wrote:Also when they say it's RARE but it's as common/uncommon as an Atari 2600 cartridgeBurningDoom wrote:I hate it when sellers list the condition of a game as "used".
