here's some games i'm voting we should play in our competition:

Castle Crisis
Bomberman (Since Ben has a multi-tap for his PC-Engine we can try this version...do we have enough controllers Ben?)
Street Fighter Alpha 3 (i know Brad and Terrence prefer Alpha 2 but i have more characters i can use here and the throw option is identical to SF4)
Mario Kart 64
Golden Eye Rogue Agent (I really enjoy this 4 player FPS for gamecube)

we probably need a puzzle game on our voting list, but then again i don't think we can play all the game well list in one day. so we can probably pick our best 3 - 4 options.

also if Jesse is up for it...NBA Jam and WWF No Mercy :P

another thing, if someone can emulate a genesis, snes, nes competition cart in there repro cart (lookin at Ben). that would be awesome. we can battle for high scores.

No one here played Sonic Riders before, eh? That's my territory.

Yes, I am up for Jam or Hangtime. Never played No Mercy much and last time I played I sucked. I'm more of a SmackDown! 2 guy.

I only have three PCE controllers but I just put up a wanted ad on PCEngineFX for two more so hopefully I'll have enough for 5-player Bomberman.

The first one of course. It has the best gameplay scheme out of all of them. I tried Zero Gravity on the Wii and I got sick of the motion controls but I still have to give it a chance sometime. Maybe I'll try the PS2 version if I ever get the chance. I have no means of being able to try out Free Riders and even if I did, I'd prefer it if it had regular controls right off the bat instead of being a Kinect title.

If you mean "version" version, I always played the Game Cube version (hooked to the projector back at my old place for wall-sized action) but I've been playing the PC version ever since, plus I'm always on my computer anyway.
