Just saw this thread, and thought I'd try to get involved, but can someone help me figure out how to use my own IRC client for this? I can connect to the gamesurge server listed on the front page, but then I realized it was no longer the current one and I can't get KVIrc to connect to the irc.everywherechat.com server.

Good to see someone taking more interest. Our poor IRC channel has been pretty dormant as of late and would love to jump on some time and just shoot the poop on all things gaming.

...not tonight though...cause...you know...it's late and there are wolves.

Hey at least you could kill salamanders and collect fruit.

Just letting all y'alls know Cronozill and I are in the room. I'm playing Chrono Trigger for the first time and you can make fun of me!

I just thought I'd bump this and say that I am almost 100% sure that Everywherechat no longer supports IRC, because the server refuses my connection and they have taken down their support forum and IRC guide. So this is actually a pure Flash chat, I think. I don't use flash on my PC (I stick with HTML5 and Gnash which I can't get this to work with), so I think I'm going to have to sit it out unfortunately.

Crono and I had to fight off a random Vita fanboy in IRC. It was pretty entertaining.

(dun) Luckily, tears wipe off the vita pretty well
(Cronozilla) haha.
(Cronozilla) "Featuring on the Vita 2, better water resistance"
(dun) lol
(Cronozilla) "So you won't fry your system from crying because there's no games on this $200 paperweight you just bought)

Just use another client with the server details. There are plenty of webclients that use HTML5 standards and no flash. There's also a lot of dedicated ones.

I appreciate your trying to help me, but I already have tried using HexChat (a dedicated IRC client), KVIrc (another), and Kiwi IRC https://kiwiirc.com/ which is HTML5 based. All of them fail when the irc.everywherechat.com server refuses my connection. Are there any HTML5 clients you know of that will definitely work with it?

EDIT: And just to clarify, I can connect to Freenode, DALnet (even the old GameSurge server I mistakenly tried first) just fine. It's just irc.everywherechat.com that refuses my connection, and I've tried with and without SSL.
