I voted Romney, but that may have been a good reason not to.dsheinem wrote:Everytime someone mentioned Meatloaf I used to think of that song.Luke wrote:What was the one thing Meatloaf wouldn't do for love?
Don't answer with "that" or "go on a diet".
Now I think of this one.

And I wasn't being silly, is there something Meatloaf actually won't do for love?
-Will never forget the way you feel right now
-Will never forgive himself if you don't go all the way tonight
-Will never do it better than he does it with you
- Forget everything after a while
-See that it's time to move on
-Won't be screwing around sooner or later
So, it turns out theres a fair few things he wont do for love. Also, it seems he's quite into you. Good luck with that!

I can't remember where, but I read something very interesting the other day. Apparently, Mitt Romney didn't really want to run for president last year, he was kind of pushed into it. If that's true, than maybe all the mistakes he made and stupid things he said weren't done by accident. It's quite possible he was trying to sabotage his own campaign without anyone catching on to what he was doing. If so, then it worked like a charm and I should probably credit him a bit more intelligence than I used to.Stark wrote:I voted Romney, but that may have been a good reason not to.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
All the evidence and family testimony points otherwise. And the "mistakes" were largely within his character, looking back to when he was governor. He is intelligent, but I doubt this was his plan, especially since Nate Silver was predicting his loss (and got it 100% right) all along.Retrodude wrote:I can't remember where, but I read something very interesting the other day. Romney looks like Bruce Campbell. Best reason to have voted for him.

A good way to tell if you have a friend, a facebook friend, or that you are completely delusional:
A friend either visits you or sends you a gift on your birthday.
A facebook friend posts a generic comment on your wall on your birthday.
You are delusional is you tell people you are friends with *insert celebrity name*, and he or she never even acknowledges your birthday. Or your likes. Or your shares. Or your comments. Or your messages.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
For a certain definition of "celebrity", I could probably say I'm friends with Chris Bucci of Turbo Views because he usually responds to my comments on his videos and on the facebook page for the show. Then again, he usually tries to respond to most people's comments, so I don't know if that really counts.

Good metric would be, if someone asked him who you were, would he know?
