You mean on the TV or on the image? Because the image fits fine.
i only play games in widescreen on a widescreen if the game has a setting for it.

The reason why I have a 4:3 HD CRT. As a tradeoff I also watch Anamorphic Widescreen DVDs Stretch to fill every corner. I can see WrathOskvro point in utilizing all of the screen.
I normally do play in 4:3 on native 4:3 games but believe it or not it really doesn't look all that off in the setting I had it on. Other than Mario putting on a couple more pounds. Also that isn't my main retro gaming TV anyway. I normally play on a 27 inch Sony Trinitron.
Also korn16ftl3: This plasma doesn't have any burn-in issues whatsoever and it also has a setting to automatically cycle the pixels to further combat that. It's a Panasonic Viera
