My wife is my "ego anchor*", and God bless her for that.

To quote MCA:

I've got friends and family that I respect
When I think I'm too good, they put me in check
So believe when I say I'm no better than you
Except when I rap, so I guess it ain't true.

Buy the LP if you got the goods. And a huge "shame on you" if you don't own AWESOME I FUCKING SHOT THAT".

If you look thru the music thread, you can tell I'm all over the place. "Moonlight Sonata" may always be my favorite song, but Paul's Boutique may be my favorite album. It's medina rope beyond belief.

This thread has been sabotaged by Beastie Boys fans. If it's gonna be that kind of party, I'm gonna stick my dick in the mashed potatoes.

There is also a sum of roughly 20k going to the "volunteer board members salary" which when I asked them about they just did not respond.
$5K for maintenance of lights seem kind of high but I'll reserve judgement until I see the details. It could be that they had the lights installed as part of multi-year contract type loan and they're just paying it.

It could be that they had someone damage the lights and they needed to be fixed?

I'm head of the Trustees for my church and I got involved because I remember seeing the budget for building maintenance was around $60K per year. Yes, I implemented changes to reduce our operating costs but there wasn't really a lot of fat. It is just expensive to run a commercial property. Contractors cost more since it's commercial and the building is just huge. So I had a bit of a reality check myself.
