The Source engine is technologically behind the times and I've heard the dev tools are a bitch to work with. Despite this, much of what I've seen in Source looks great and holds up very well, and community devs seem to still be capable of doing awesome work in it. Goes to show you don't need the latest bling to create awesomeness.

Ugh, Redline. I want to play it, but the last few times I tried, the sudden perspective changes of getting into and out of vehicles made me sick. It is the only FPS to ever do that to me.

Stuck on the Necrogiant in Painkiller right now myself. Stupid tornado attack.

That's the first boss?

Just run away when he gets ready to launch the tornado. It can help to run into one of those small buildings with a roof, too.

Hit him with the shotgun a lot until he gets to that point, then fire with the stakes from a distance so you can see him telegraph his harder attacks in the second half of the fight.

Never thought about hiding in those buildings; I'll try that.
