The PSone screen doesn't have a hinge lock from the few I've handled as I've always been able to tilt mine completely flat with the system and back.jfe2 wrote:Here's my loot from today's adventure.
Sega Saturn w/ new in box generic controller - $25
Modded PSOne w/ LCD screen attachment, controller, and memory card - $30
Dreamcast keyboard -$5
The guy wanted $45 for the modded PSOne, but he broke the hinge on the LCD screen when he was showing it to me, so I told him I would take it for $30 if he threw in a memory card too. I am really bummed about that screen though...It is still connected, it just folds all the way back instead of stopping where it should.

Ah, okay. Does it have any resistance though? Like if I try to just let the screen stand up so I can play it just falls back. There's no resistance.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:The PSone screen doesn't have a hinge lock from the few I've handled as I've always been able to tilt mine completely flat with the system and back.jfe2 wrote:Here's my loot from today's adventure.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Yeah it has resistance, you may want to open the hinge assembly up (Be careful not to break anything!) and see if it's just an easy fix like a misaligned hinge.jfe2 wrote:Ah, okay. Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I actually can see in side the hinge assembly because when I try to open it the casing starts to split. There is a metal cylinder that looks like its out of whack. I can't really figure out a way to open the casing without breaking anything though. I can open it and it works nice, but I just have to be careful with it I guess.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote: Yeah it has resistance, you may want to open the hinge assembly up (Be careful not to break anything!) and see if it's just an easy fix like a misaligned hinge.

That's an excellent deal for all that. I really hate to mention Gamestop, but if you're lucky enough to find one that still sells used Gamecube games, you'd see that they still ask 10+ dollars for a good majority of those gamesAlpinex2 wrote:

Damn dude, you're stalking the sales on the weekend like I was riding the 'name that game' thread last week.Alpinex2 wrote: I won a storage locker for $75 bucks and it had 66 gamecube games in it, i've only been to a storage locker sale 1 other time... Don't worry all GS's still sell GC at the moment, and our GC phaseout has been delayed by higher recent demand for the console and it's games.Weekend_Warrior wrote:That's an excellent deal for all that. thank goodness! Regardless of the GS hate around here, GC and GBA are the reasons why I still go there (often).
