I like just about anything from Wendy's, McDonalds or Burger King. Of the three I think Wendy's is the best though. Five Guys is great, though I don't go there often but when I do I'm happy.
I'm surprised more pizza chains don't have green olives.

Wendy's has a $1 double burger that you can add lettuce, tomato, and onion for free. For me it's the best $1 burger by miles.

At McDonalds you can order a McDouble and ask to hold the ketchup and mustard and add lettuce, onion and special sauce. $1 big mac minus one bun. Or you can get crazy like the kids these days do and order a mcdouble and a mcchicken and combine them into one sandwich.

Never liked BK except for the crown hats you get for free, so I have no suggestions for ya.
Is this for real? $1 for a burger? Damnnnn, it's £4.79 here for an ordinary Whopper. And to get my favourite, an XL Bacon Double Cheeseburger Meal at Burger King, costs nearly £7.

I tend to eat at more affordable places like chip shops, kebab and pizza places. I'm a sucker for a bit of battered fish, but even that is £4 for a good bit of haddock.

When I see these programs on television about fat people who eat junk everyday, the first thing that springs to mind is how do they afford it!?

Almost every fast food chain in the states has a dollar menu. Chicken sandwiches, burgers, milkshakes, ice cream, fries, and other items, all $1.00. Junk food is dirt cheap, unless you are at an airport. McDonald's charges much, much more at airports.

I only know two kinds of people when it comes to eating burgers and fries:

Those who eat the fries first, and those who eat the burger first. Am I the only weirdo that may have a french fry or two, and then a bite of my burger?

I eat half of the fries and then half of the burger and then half-life it until I finish everything.

Dont just single them out, everyone charges much more at an airport. Atleast McDonalds still has the dollarmenu at most airports.

I put the fries on my burger, unless it is an angus with swiss and mushrooms, then it is eaten as given.

Damn it, now I want Mcdonalds for lunch.

I like Chipotle. I usually have the works (black beans, pico de gallo, hot sauce, cheese) and it seems good to me. If you're just getting bean/cheese only, then yes, I can see that they would be bland.

Anna's Taqueria has similar burritos.

Really? Maybe things have changed, but I have never seen a dollar menu at any major airport, and I was at ORD and RDU just months ago and no dollar menus.

Oh, and on the topic of airports, the "Chili's to go" $8 Bloody Mary is worth every penny.

When I was in LAX earlier this year I saw the dollar menu, but bought a 20 pack of nuggets instead. In ATL they have a truncated dollar menu.

That's surprising, but I don't doubt you.

And also, that's a shit ton of nuggets. I try to avoid the fast food at airports, but I have been known to buy a banana and an apple for $3.00 at one of the bagel shops.

There were several of us traveling back from an award ceremony in Hollywood (ironically around the corner from the Grammys). For six people, 20 nuggets isnt that much.
