In the GBA version, I got a Luna picture one you get at the end of the game talking to Ramus.

I looked on Gamefaqs and section 8 of the secrets FAQ for Lunar Legend refers how to get the other 2 (which I didn't get).

In contrast, I looked at the LSSC secrets FAQ in Gamefaqs and it seems I missed the chance of getting some of the bromides already - at least, Luna's no longer in the basement in Burg (I wonder who took it?).

I have Mia's on Nash, and I guess I got a bit lucky to get Jessica's (in the Temple there is a crazy dude that thinks he is related to Jessica, I usually DragonWinged there to get a quick heal and used to go talk to the dude as the dialogue is funny). I was counting on Ramus' giving me the pic of Luna in the end of the game, like in the GBA port. What is funny or creepy about them?

I'm in the Frontier now, and reserved saves just before, just after, and at the "insert CD2" screen.

As you can see from the above post, from reading the gamefaqs secrets guide I realize I have missed on the opportunity for some items, so tough luck if you wanted to get them as those save states won't help you then!

I do have some of them (and the possibility of getting some others) still, but if you wanted 100% and had been working for it you will need to figure out how to get past the "insert cd2" screen yourself...

wow, this was a TR from before I joined the forums... anyway, I'm playing thru the GBA version right now, so I figured my thoughts best belonged in this thread (otherwise, sorry for bumping such an old thread).

I played the Sega CD version when I was younger. And I remember enjoying it. But the GBA version is blowing me away. The sprites. The music. The gameplay mechanics. The translation (diamonds = dragon turds!) I feel it's one of the best RPG's I've played in a long time. I'm not too far in yet. Took me just about 2 hrs to get to the title screen...

Not to rain on your parade, but if you have played the Sega CD version already I heartily recommend you play the PS1 "port" *instead* of the GBA "port". The playstation version is really good.

It's kinda weird to think we've been doing TR that long now...

I only collect for GB/GBC/GBA and Gamecube nowadays. (I should write that in my signature).

Collect the cart, play the CD version ;) Emulate it if you want, apparently you already paid for it on Sega CD and on GBA. I honestly think you should try the CD version. I think a good portion of what made / makes Lunar memorable is rather improved by the extra storage space.

And in terms of gameplay, the PS version has no random encounters (woohoo! :D)

Ivo, you obviously have yet to pick up on my GB/GBA obsession. :)

Seriously though, I'm not looking for a better version or anything. I love the GBA game. I don't collect for other systems. I don't emulate. I don't play games on my PC.

Well in that case, the GBA version seemed to be rather decent - it just didn't seem to be great, and to me it wasn't nearly as good as the PS version :)

Enjoy it :)
