Like legit you want bad "gamer logic" how about absolutely everything Erik ever posts.
How about you fuck off from the forums again? Things were better without you, you know?
Feel free to keep representing those angry entitled gamers, though
you know I might just take you up on that, would be nice to not see your aggrivating masturbatory bullshit about how you think you understand art lol
Gamer entitlement is thinking games are games apparently

She started it. Twice, in fact. And then went to the Random Thoughts thread to complain.
If she wants to feel welcome perhaps she can start by not randomly insulting people because, woha, someone has a different definition about what a game is and dared to mention it.
Not the first time she has jumped on someone throat, either.

I just don't think one is being inclusive at all by misrepresenting art and conflating mediums. I don't gain a new experience by saying Watchmen is a video game, why would I gain it by saying Polyphonica is?

I said that you're both out of line, did I not? But actively telling someone that things were better without them is never okay, dude. Here in the South, we're taught "If you ain't got nothing nice to say, don't say anything." I'm the first to admit that I'm FAR from flawless with that, and I show that shortcoming more often than I'd like to admit, but it's still a lesson that we all need to take to hear sometimes, and I think both of you could stand to think about it a bit.
Apple, I, for one, am glad that you're back, and I don't want to see you leave again. I do think, however, that you could stand to be a little less hostile in your posts.
Erik, you're a valued member of the forums, and I enjoy reading most of what you post both here and on Twitter, but you're using gasoline to try to put out a fire, and I've got to admit that you, too, can get a bit too aggressive with your opinions, and in this particular instance, you're just factually wrong. It's fine to have an opinion or even reject what's accepted as fact (sometimes; that stops where science and history are concerned), but you've got admit where language differs, and in this particular case, your definition of a video game doesn't match up with the real definition. That's not an insult - I adamantly refuse to acknowledge that "gift" can be a verb even though language says I'm wrong - but it's a fact.

I have no idea what's going on here, but the word dictionary caught my eye. That definition is limited, I use my tv remote to generate visual feedback by changing channels, doesn't make channel surfing a game....or does it?

I take pleasure in changing channels in a way that the words being said in each channel makes a very strange sentence. That in itself is a weird game hahaha.
But there are video games that use your remote control. Lots of DVD games, old VHS games. Those are some crazy times for sure!
