After a few trailers i got confused on witch games were console exclusive and launch exclusive. Though Sony does that too, and im sure it will do it this year as well, they use "First on PlayStation".
First in PlayStation isn't as shifty as console launch exclusive and a voice that yells, "Exclusive," they were intentionally trying to confuse you and that to me was not cool. They did show some great games though.

Nothing at the Microsoft conference about the Xbone (or the XboneX) really interested me because ALL of those games are coming to PC anyway (even if it is just Windows 10 store). Still no reason for me to buy an Xbone.

I do really wanna pick up Crimson Skies now though. I've been meaning to pick it up for a while because everyone says it's fun, and now they've gone and reminded me it exists Xp

For those saying to go with a PC, it already takes advantage of 4k. This is for console only gamers to upgrade.

I realize that PCs do 4K (without true HDR, though?)...but most people don't hook up their PC to their TV. Most people also don't have 4K TVs, of course, but as I understand it this system is meant to appeal to those who have one or expect to get one soon.

Thus, my question: if you have (or had) a 4K TV, does (or would) the XOX appeal to you?
I have a 4k tv and no, this new console doesn't really interest me.

I've got a 4K set. I was interested in the new machine, but feel that for just a little bit more cash, I can have a really nice gaming PC. If the numbers are right on that GPU, then at least in terms of TFLOPS (not the best metric, mind), it's on par with a RX 480.

I think that, combined with the lack of exclusives I really want to play, is going to keep me off the wagon. At $400, it's a more tempting offer.

Then they finished with Wolfenstein II and took a massive lead. Following up on The New Order, setting it in the US, and having the gunplay from The Old Blood. The only way the wishlist could be better is if there's a secret boss that's Hitler in the giant four chaingun mecha from the original.
SOOOO excited for that. That combat looked fun and meaty as fuck, and the storytelling looked just as quality as last time. That will likely, once again, be a game I buy new the week it comes out, which ain't somethin' I do too often. I'm not sure Hitler will be in it though, because wasn't he a boss in Wolfenstein '09 (which this is technically a sequel to)?
The chronology is as follows:

Wolfenstein '09
Wolfenstein The Old Blood
Wolfenstein The New Order
Wolfenstein II The New Colossus

I think New Colossus is being labeled as II because '09 didn't do well and isn't super necessary for the chronology to make sense. The main thing it does is explain why the Nazis have robot dogs and the fighting extended into '46 for The New Order, but you can always just take that on faith that we're in an alternate world where the Nazi scientists delivered on the crazy shit. And so in that chronology Old Blood is 0, New Order is 1, and Colossus is 2.

I tried giving Wolfenstein 2009 another shot last year on PC, even with some nice re-configs and edits, but I could not get into it at all. The New Order definitely spoiled me.

I've never really been into Wolfenstein in general until now. But I do want to check out Return to Castle Wolfenstein someday, that one looks cool. As for the original, I played Doom first and it's impossible to go back.

Holy shit awesome. I really loved that Wolfenstein reboot back on the PS3, didn't care for that game a year later as much as the first. This one though lines up with the original as the next chapter and I can totally get into bringing it back to America, getting pissed to see what they did, and killing every kraut in sight.

Unlike some I still can enjoy the original game quite a lot, age doesn't matter when the mechanics are solid. It just lacks a map which is all that bugs me, but it kind of makes sense not having one escaping a prison.

I mean I just beat System Shock 1 haha. So yeah, I shouldn't have said it's an age thing there. But I don't like Wolfenstein's looks and graphics. Some people hate Doom because it's too "maze like" which I never agree with, but I can totally see it with Wolfenstein. Too bland and boring for me.

The last one was The Old Blood which was kind of an expansion to The New Order. I agree it wasn't nearly as good, not to mention the final boss was a huge pain in the ass.

I'm glad BJ is back.

PC Gaming shredding it up! I love Day9, so this has been a really good conference so far.

As far as bethesda, i might be one of the few thats not excited for wolfenstein. (i never liked the other games.) Dishonered looks awesome though. I have to say that Nintendo Skyrim port has been getting a yawn/chuckle reaction from everybody ive talked too.
