That's interesting. Never would have guessed based on screenshots and box art.
Hopefully that sparks some interest for some.

Otherwise not sure who it would appeal to. I remember the combat being terrible, but it was very minimal and expected with something like this. It was all about the puzzles and cool world for me.

Why do you have to buy four copies?

Because he has at least three buddies that like to beat him at his own game.

My game group has atleast one cheapskate in it, who likes to think he is better at games than I am...But usually it is four cheapskates and one of us has to pop.

Sorry to derail all these JPN PSX imports... especially on my first forum post!

I have to recommend Air Fortress for NES (currently playing it to review at my blog). It's an ambitious, creative, and very fun game. An early one from HAL (of Kirby fame)... it's also really gorgeous, especially considering the Famicom version came out in 1987. Truly one of the hidden gems on the NES.

Also: Captain America and the Avengers (NES version). The arcade brawler is classic, but this is a typical action/platformer. It's also the best Marvel game on the NES... maybe the only good Marvel game on the NES. It's not without flaws, but personally I love it and most people don't even know about it.
I review (mostly old) games at: The Annals of Retrodom.

Oh, yeah, Cap on NES is a really solid game. Actually, I've got an abandoned playthrough floating around somewhere I need to finish...

Go! Go! Tank / Game Boy / 1991

Go! Go! Tank is an action puzzle game. Go! Go! Tank has the option to play single player or two player via link cable. The goal in Go! Go! Tank is to help a tank get to the end of the stage by using the airplane to pick up blocks and create a path. It starts off simple but gets quite tricky. If you're a fan of unique action puzzle games you might enjoy this one. If you're a Game Boy collector it deserves to be in your collection.
