similarly, I'd rather hear a great or horrible album than just a good one. I'd rather play a great or terrible game than a just OK one. If that all makes sense?

I think it does, good is just average/boring? great is a must and bad needs some investigating to find some good which digging can be fun!

yeah exactly. To me a game that is universal hated is more interesting or intriguing than a game that is just serviceable.

That's my biggest problem with most of the dime-a-dozen PS3/360 FPS games. It's not that they're terrible. They're just painfully "okay." Now Pizza Delivery Boy on the Wii...that's a BAD game, and as a result, it's loads of fun to play with friends.

Is Operation Raccoon City worth while for single player?

I'm pretty sure it's online focused, however the price is very low for this game. I'm guessing there maybe some updates patching things up and knowing its Socom with RE skins might help your perception some. I have it but haven't got around to it, mainly researched and spoke to some ppl about it but I had planned on playing solo in the first place.

It's best played in co-op I don't think the bots are to amazing. Really the only thing that boosts it to decent/good levels is the co-op. The story is garbage and the gameplay isn't anything special. The game has bug issues but was much improved last time I played it probably a year or so ago.

Pretty much. It's a fun mindlessly zombie killer solo if you want to kill some time, but it's definitely best co-op with some friends.

So I promised myself I'd beat RE5 before Dark Souls III comes out, so that's how I'll be spending my weekend. It's the last of the RE games I own that I have yet to beat (not counting the light gun titles on the Wii). I just finished Chapter 1. The game really didn't put it's best foot forward, in my opinion. 1-2 was much better. I'm hoping the game is more like 1-2 and less like 1-1.

Are you playing co-op? It's so much more fun that way me and a friend actually played it 4-5 times in a row a few years back. The first section is pretty slow but the rest of the game is pretty action packed.
