I am currently sitting next to this super hipster couple at a brewery. The topic of conversation? Buying some land that can be fenced in for chickens and ducks, flying kites, and basement hydroponics.
Could be a Studio Ghibli Animation, id watch it.

meanwhile, dsheinem, in another thread wrote::D : Also discovered a new-to-me brewery and I can't decide if I like their IPA, their Stout, or their seafood mac-n-cheese better.
The situational irony, it hurts! Pot, calling the kettle black. Basement hydroponics though, might want to give ol' Hank from the DEA a call, know-what-i'm-sayin'?

Opinion: IPA tastes like bougie garbage water! Blech! Only bitter and no balance to the taste! I'd sooner chew up an aspirin. It's like hot sauce, where the only point is to be burn my insides. But Blu, it's 11,000,000,000 Scovilles, that has to mean something! Yeah, now you'll need medication for a stomach ulcer and a new intestinal lining like IPAs make me want new taste buds. Sidebar, sidenote: I like beers that adhere to Reinheitsgebot. Malty, delicious beers, yum. Stout, I'm with you too, I like them from time to time.

Dave, if we all started saying we're homebrewing, growing our own hops, and founded a a Racketboy Brew-o-the-month Club, would you finally jump in on the homesteading jamboree? I'll be canning my own jams later too!

I'd be amazed living in Michigan that you wouldn't of tried this beer, but probably the most balanced, easy drinking, not a hop attack on your pallet IPA you can find. Probably my go to beer, 100% Centennial hops. Give it a shot if you haven't already, but yeah if you don't like this one then IPA's aren't in your wheel house.

Also, I have a garden, grow my own hops and asparagus. Also been known to eat the berries of off my Amelanchiers if I can get to them before the birds.

Two Hearted I do enjoy every once in a while. The beginning and middle of the beer is pretty nice, but that bitter finish is something that I just don't care for. I'd share one with someone, but it's not a beer that I'd be my go-to if I wanted to have one. It's way better than Third Coast Beer though.

It pays homage to the Upper Peninsula, the Two-Hearted River is a gorgeous windy river, and its opening on Superior is "Big Two-Hearted River" the Nick Adam's Story by Ernest Hemingway. One of my favorite short stories by him and the imagery and message is wonderful. Though the story gains inspiration about the Fox River in Seney rather than the actual Two-Hearted River, which is further east in Luce County.

OMG I love Two Hearted Ale!! It and DigFishHead's IPAs are my favorite widely available IPA microbrews.

A bottle with a fish on it looks like it would be disgusting - poor hipster marketing.
