Playing HERO on the PS2 Activision Anthology is pretty frustrating in my opinion, because you don't have that stiff joystick to play the game but instead those loose thumbsticks. It's WAY harder! Instead HERO was perfectly tuned to the 2600 joystick and subtle movements that the game required. Thanks for the tip! I will hold off on it until I find 2600 copy.Metal Jesus wrote:Playing HERO on the PS2 Activision Anthology is pretty frustrating in my opinion, because you don't have that stiff joystick to play the game but instead those loose thumbsticks. You best fix that situation. GO. PLAY. NOW. For the 2600, it's really ambitious.prfsnl_gmr wrote:It's 'spensive.dsheinem wrote:How have you not played H.E.R.O.? Given your appreciation for the VCS, you need to get on that like NOW.![]()

Otherwise, decent list there MJ. Huge Deus Ex fan.

Oh no, someone else brainwashed by Deus Ex.
Pretty solid choices otherwise though.

I've never tried to come up with my own personal top 10 list. Not even mentally. I think it would just be too hard!

Re: Metal Jesus - My TOP 10 GAMES of All Time
It isn't as hard as it sounds as long as you stick to a criteria. A lot of people determine, "Best," as the most fun, while others may define it as the most impactful, or the most memorable. When you lump them all together as, "The best," that is when things get tough.Ziggy587 wrote:I've never tried to come up with my own personal top 10 list. Not even mentally. My own personal list, I would define it as games that I just absolutely can't do without. As in, I die and go to video game heaven and the video games gods tell me that I can only pick 10 games for all eternity.

prfsnl_gmr - Until you get the 2600 version, try the PS2 Anthology with an Arcade stick. I like the tactical click switches and go that "arcade stick" route on the 2600 with an EPYX stick.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Thanks for the tip! @ Metal Jesus - Great Video, this is the way a Top Ten List should be done, with a very thorough description and review. Hey, I remember that Stunts game! Sometimes I fire it up thru DOS Box.

I swear this is the only place I've come across with several Deus Ex haters.
Glad Metal is on our side though!
Great selection all around. I've always liked KOTOR2 a lot more than the first though.
