Oh yeah, that guy. I know that guy. The entire time I was there it felt like he kept jumping out from behind every other tree and throwing Falcom games in my face.

You have no idea how many pictures I had to scrap because he kept photo-bombing me.

I managed to catch this picture of the fog rolling in through Deception Pass this morning.

The National Park program just had its 100th birthday yesterday! I hiked up Mount Ranier and took this photo of the glacier covered peak.

Okay, maybe a lot foggy

Still pretty, though

Acadia looks gorgeous. I've wanted to go for a while now, everyone who has ever gone raves about the island. We were just in Maine, in fact, for a wedding, but it would have taken a solid 3 hours just to get there, so we went to the Height of the Land instead. Now that's a beautiful vista.

Acadia is gorgeous. If you get the chance, definitely try to go.

And now that I've finished going through all my recent photos, and o.pwuaioc and JT conveniently bumped the thread so I didn't have to look for it, here's some of the pictures I took when I was in Colorado last week.
Went to the Denver Art Museum

Walked around Downtown Denver for a bit

Part of the reason for the trip was to see a concert at Red Rocks Amphetheare

Worth it, even without the concert

Stayed in Estes Park, drove by the Stanley Hotel

They have two roads called Overlook Lane and Overlook Avenue. This is an establishment that knows its audience.

Drove all around Rocky Mountain National Park.

Visited the Alpine area

It was snowing, but you probably can't tell

Visited the popular lakes and walked a few trails

Saw lots of fuzzy wildlife.

Even found two Moose.

And let us not forget the Hummingbirds, who were nice enough to hold still long enough for a photo op.

The only thing I didn't get a picture of was the mountain sheep. But oh well. Better luck next time I guess.

Well done, sir. Photographing a hummingbird is no easy task. I tip my fancy hat to you, Michi.

This panorama of the mouth of the Chesapeake is also a time lapse photo of an Osprey flying.

In case you have any trouble viewing this panorama, I built a webpage with a little picture box that you can slide across the image. http://www.samfranz.com/?p=373

Great photos Michi! I agree with samsonlonghair about the hummingbird. I have never been to the Red Rock Amphitheater. One of my biggest concert regrets is that I didn't join some friends of mine to go on a road trip to see Tool there around the year 2000.
