Ive been trying to bring myself to beat the first Drakengard, but the combat is just so bland and repetitive.

The 3rd one looks really good, but im not going to buy it till i can beat the first one, just cant stand skipping games in a series.

I'm usually that way with 90% of the series I get into. But with Drakengard 3 it does take place before the previous two games so that helps. It also looks alot cooler. >_>

Maybe if I like it enough I'll go back and play the other 2 but we'll see.

I joined Playstation Plus and I am not sure if I should regret it or not. I hardly get tricked by marketers but it got me this time.

I was buying a bunch of games on sale on PSN and they showed me that if I joined Plus I will instantly save $17 . I went to the PS Plus page and they have Bioshock Infinite for free. This would cost me at least $13. So in total I will get PS Plus for only $20 . For sure there will be future free games that will make up for this $20 so I impulse bought it. After I did, out of my newly purchased $100 credit, I am left with only $16. For $84 I got:

-MGS HD collection
-Devil May Cry HD collection
-Red dead Redemption
-Duke Nukem Forever (Impulse buy)
-Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger (Couldn't resist)
-Bioshock Infinite (PS Plus)

I need some one to explain few things to me.

1) Free games for Plus members, do they change or do they just keep accumulating? For example can they withdraw Bioshock tomorrow from PS Plus?

2) What happens if I download a "free for PLUS members" game, and before I complete it, they withdraw it from the PLUS free list?

3)What is the difference between a demo and a "Free Trial" for PS members only?

I own like at least 15 games just for playstation that I want to play (not to mention PC-NGC-N64-Dreamcast) , some which need a month long time like Red Dead and FF7. Not sure if I did a mistake...

1.Instant Game Library titles largely rotate in/out. There are some (like Uncharted 3) that have been pretty static.

2. What counts is "purchasing" the game. Once it's in your download list you can go grab it whenever. Basically, the longer you have PS+ and remember to "buy" the free games, the bigger your free library gets. Which you need PS+ to keep access to (you get back whatever you had before if your sub lapses and you renew). It's set up in a way to really encourage you to stay subscribed.

Yeah, that's why i've been getting the ps3 games that pop up on there...helps me even if I don't have a ps3 yet but plan on it. My ps+ subscription(which I'm paying for yearly) has paid for itself time and time again.....

The biggest drawback, in my opinion, is that $100 you spent is gone. Gone, gone, gone. There is no way you'll ever recoup that, which may or may not bother you. I don't want to get into the whole digital vs physical debate, but that's one of the major points keeping me away from digital - to me, any digital purchase is a waste of money.

Plus is great on Vita. You get (I think) four Vita titles in the IGC and they rotate the games pretty frequently. Also, PS Plus subscribers get better discounts during sales. Oh, and you can sign into the PSN on a computer and add ps4 plus titles into your account even if you don't have the system yet.

Oh crap, I missed on Tomb Raider I wanted to play that game
I was just sitting on my laptop to read the forums, when I read Isiolia's reply, I got up, switched my PS3 on and downloaded everything on the PS Plus free list. I didn't want to waste bandwidth or HDD space so I just started the downloads and canceled them

I just went to check past free games, and seriously there were many that I paid for in physical copies. Any chance for a game to show up again on PS Plus?

Any one knows how Sony is able to provide so much value for so little money? I counted whats free on the current list and I got up to about $200 saves on PS3 games alone, that does not include past titles or Vita titles, not to mention Plus only members discounts on other games. How could Sony convince 2k, Capcom, and 505 games to release their game for free?

@Retrogamer0001

It is very true what you say, but I do not resell videogames because we do not have a second hand market (its very small). Buying digital saves me a lot on shipping (lets say at least $5-10 per game) and once I am done with the game I just store it on the shelf never to play it again so I save shelf space. (Yes buying form US+Shipping is cheaper than buying locally new games)

If I was in the US, I would definitely buy physical. I looked prices on Amazon and many games physical are much cheaper than their digital version (what kind of logic is that?), the good thing about digital is that if you wait long enough you can pick up great prices (Like I got Crash Bandicoot psx for $1

I can't think of any that have shown back up, but I'm not sure it could be entirely ruled out.
