What makes me burst into laughter is that he's basically saying "But I AM original! Don't copy me" and he totally lives off of sampling music.

"Sampling isn't creating" does apply when you rip off an entire song and just rap over it.

Sampling is essential in hip hop as long as long as you DO something creative with it.

Pre-crunk Southern rap was crucial to those summers in the early 2000's when my brother, cousin and I would play Mario Kart, Mario Party, Goldeneye and Super Mario RPG. Ludacris, Ying Yang Twins, OutKast, T.I. etc.. Also Eminem, even though he's not Southern.

Man, Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show are still mind-blowing to me, and I appreciate them a lot more now that I'm not 10.
