Yeah it is pretty close. I'm ok with Ogre Battle too, so no arguments from me.o.pwuaioc wrote:Don't write off Ogre Battle yet!CFFJR wrote:Voted for Warsong, not that it matters.![]()
Shining Force 2 seems to be the clear winner. I'm ok with that.

Re: Together RPG of the month or quarter club? Vote for SRPG
Heh both games in the lead are the ones I own multiple copies of across platforms and have beaten 4-5 times each atleast. They are some of my favorites though, so I would want others who havent experienced them to do so.
Ogre Battle would set us up for playing some of the others in the series like Tactics and 64.
Shining Force 2 would be a good follow up to the Together Retro we did last year. It is also a bit better game than the first.

Don't forget the Rhyan Sea level named after Seven Seas of Rhye.o.pwuaioc wrote:How have you not known that? I love Queen.

Looks like I won't be playing Jagged Alliance for a while.
If we do Lunar series later, I'd rather to Lunar 2.

I kinda would to, as I've played part 1 to death.Valkyrie-Favor wrote: If we do Lunar series later, I'd rather to Lunar 2.
But to be fair to other folks here, 1 would be much more accessible. It's on 5 different consoles! And both North American versions of Lunar 2 are quite pricey while you can get 1 on the GBA or PSP for almost nothing.
But anyway, I've never played the PSX port of either game to completion so I'd be happy with any choice.

True that it's easier to get Lunar 1. If we're open to emulation it obviously becomes much easier.
I played Lunar 1 on PSP and it was relaxing. I enjoyed it, but I'm not going to play it again.

Ogre Battle for me. Huge fan of the Tactics Ogre games (played the original SNES one and the GBA game), so I've been curious to see more of this series fleshed out. Ogre Battle sounds complex as hell so it'd probably be fun to go in with a group effort, lol.

You can also change your vote. So if you voted for a losing cause and want to influence a potential winning vote you can.
I will close it and announce winner monday night. Then we will go to the next genre.

Mustang is trying to get people to change their vote from Final Fantasy Tactics to Ogre Battle. Don't fall for it. Go Tactics go!!!!!!
