Did you use a codebreaker?

yes but it requires some other (somewhat pricey) equipment - namely a Netopia and a phone line simulator.

I just use an actual landline w/ free ISP for dialup. It's old school, but easy.

I really don't know man. If I were you I'd hit up the Sylverant forum or the Online section of the Dreamcast-Talk forum. There's guys there that can be of better technical help than me. I know there are alternatives but I am not sure it's as easy as that. But again, I've really only successfully got my DC online via good ol' fashioned dialup, so I'm just not as experienced as some of the guys you'll find there.

Have to try this again another day, the patcher disc wont work with a burned copy of PSO 1, and i found some local free dial up numbers, but it says i need to call the operator and find out of its truly toll free. :|

But this is super easy to setup if you have free dial up to work with.

I would love to play PSO, but it seems too much of a pain to get all this dial up crap.

Why don't those third party brands like Performance, Tomee, etc. make a Dreamcast Broadband? I'd pay 50 bucks for one. Don't care if it is an official Sega one or not.

well for one I believe it uses proprietary parts. So same reason you don't see 3rd party GCN component cables.

Also, the only 2 games you can use the BBA with anymore are PSO and Q3, and neither are on official servers. So I don't think a 3rd party would see that as a cash cow.

I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)

I didn't forget Doom - just skipped it cuz it's homebrew and of course a 3rd party isn't gonna make an accessory for homebrew haha.

I hopped on PSO about 40 mins last night.

My Ver2 char is only LVL7 right now. I had a LVL19 that I lost.
