Agreed, at $60 for a CIB copy on eBay, I wouldn't hesitate grabbing that instead of a new current-gen game. I recall easily getting 60+ hours of gameplay out of Phantasy Star 4.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

I buy Genesis games loose for consistency, don't really need the shelf ornament, though the manual in this case could be helpful. All I've seen is how it's the only great PS game of the lot, and it's more advanced than the others almost feeling like something Square put on the SNES. I never dug into it over a decade ago when I had a Genesis last so it has been on a list of things to review and possibly do. Seems loose $30-35 is fair which is nice. It's such a pleasure seeing most the Gen library not over around that mark, and virtually next to nothing is over $50 as a game alone. When the worst of them I can tell (MUSHA) is complete worth less than quite a few NES and SNES titles, it says a lot.

It's the 16th, Pier Solar is not as of 11:40am EST not up for sale yet if anyone is watching.

Not all pre-orders have shipped out yet (I'm still personally waiting... sigh), so it's probably been delayed again.

Mine (PC CE) arrived today, but I was only home for lunch so I didn't do anything other than observe the outer packaging (which has nice attention to detail for being brown boxes n' stuff).

Got my Collector's Edition yesterday :D . The packaging was way impressive. It was gift-wrapped with their own custom (WM Logo) paper. You've got to respect that level of OCD. And that's not even it, the grand omake box the game and extras come in have pull ribbons with their logo on it as well.
I have copy number 662 out of 999.

Liking the Strategy guide (hardbound), but didn't flip through it too much, as not to spoil the plot.
The Mug and miniatures are nice but not expected.

I give the package the "Victor Ireland Award". Sorry I'm too lazy for pics atm.

Only thing is, I've been using my Dreamcast with GDEMU lately.
The game is in mil-CD format (I believe) so I tried ripping the game to a cdi; but it only shows the opening movie, then resets. I may just need to change my settings in discjuggler, but I'm giving up for now :| . I'm inexperienced here.
Might just get another Dreamcast and devote it to the few I can't play any other way. Then again, I could just play the PC port...

On a positive, I did make a working cdi copy of Redux.
...just another lost soul...

Damn, everyone is getting their's except me. I hope mine is sent soon.

About copying the game, they might have some kind of copy protection in place (I don't know, is that possible?).

don't hate me Reprise, but I bought RSG's copy and I'll have mine Thursday. :|

I'm really looking forward to jumping in, and figure it's the sort of game that will keep me busy through the holidays. Contemplating grabbing the strategy guide when it comes back in stock.

Yeah, I wondered that too. It would make sense, but would be unfortunate, as that is how I wanted to play the game.
I guess I could throw my super-squeaky gdrom back in, but would like to find some white gear grease (or something) to put on the laser rails first.

About your game, did you get a shipping confirmation yet?
I had to add a phone number to my order before they would send mine.

Yeah, I got the 'shipping' confirmation, but not yet the 'shipped' confirmation. I put in all my details and got a shipping confirmation on 26th October. I probably have nothing to worry about and it will turn up soon. I have raised a couple of support tickets with Watermelon(one two weeks ago, the other today), but haven't got any concrete answers other than the diplomatic/customer service equivalent of "be patient! It'll come soon... probably... maybe". So I guess I'll just keep waiting.

I just want to know realistically how long I'm supposed to wait before I assume it's lost somewhere, but they won't answer that.
