He's like the Jar Jar Binks of this game. The worst part is that this little sh*t is with you throughout the entire game with his god awful english dub, and really stupid dialog. I've never hated moogles in Final Fantasy games...until now.

Japanese games don't really have a handle on making endearing sidekicks do they? Just look at my first post in this thread about that stupid b**ch who is always with you in Zelda Skyward Sword.

How many times has he gotten us killed by hitting the boss first and making him temporarily invincible or screwed us up during the Sonic 2 special stage?

Every opponent since Mario Kart 64 i really cant stand the taunts you hear when the ai racers pass you. Also every voice in Super Mario Strikers.

dont forget navi, tatl, midna, and especially tingle. screw tingle with a crowbar.

I rather liked Tatl and Midna...

I also never found Navi or Fi anywhere near as annoying as most people seem to.

Tingle is hard for me to hate on because he generally plays such a small role. I think he's a good example of cultural barriers, because Japan seems to find him incredibly funny/endearing.

Oh my God, yes! Sonic 2 special stages are nigh unplayable with tails, unless you have a second player who knows what they're doing maybe. And if that's not enough, every newer Sonic adaptation manages to make him seem even more annoying and useless.


And Alisa Bosconovitch from Tekken 6 really ticks me off. I just hate her move set, character, everything about her. Can't stand playing online and having people just abuse her rocket hand unblockable or having her attack me from halfway across the stage thanks to her f--king rocket feet.

Oh man, I had blocked that--thing from my mind completely until reading this. I liked the character design, but no single character has ever been more annoying to me in a video game:
'Could you stop blinking and making that obnoxious sound, I know you want to tell me about the new dousing thing, but I really don't care. I understood it the first five times. I know my wiimote batteries are dying, Fi, you don't have to remind me every time I change areas, there's a red battery icon in the corner of the screen that won't let me forget it. Shut up, Fi! I want to figure it out on my own, and it's not that difficult a puzzle to begin with. Screw it! I hate you, and I hate this game! I'm going back to the Saturn, damnit!'
