I guess I should chime in to my own topic again.
I kind of feel the same way as MrEco does; in addition to a world to explore, I just need that exp. progress to keep me happy.
Sometimes I think that it's the idea of an RPG that I'm endlessly fascinated with.
Gotta' try that DS Lunar game someday though. I admit that I let reviews deter me there.
Unlimited Saga was mentioned: That game looks so pretty to me. I have to give that a chance as well.
