he did, and I think it's a big part of why I'm not an N64 fan. 3D platformers are not my thing, and for the most part neither are party games.Inazuma wrote:Summed it up very nicely.AppleQueso wrote:N64 was the king of 3D platforming and the go-to machine for party games and multiplayer.
Saturn had a lot of cool quirky niche titles and excellent arcade ports.
Ps1 had RPGs out the ass.
I'm happy to own all 3.

I lump those in with party games/multiplayer.sevin0seven wrote:you forgot to mentioned that N64 was the king of wrestling games.Inazuma wrote:Summed it up very nicely.AppleQueso wrote:N64 was the king of 3D platforming and the go-to machine for party games and multiplayer.

I have to agree. As much as I love Paper Mario, you really can't compare that single game to the mountains of RPGs on the ps1.o.pwuaioc wrote:No, no it doesn't. Not at all.SuperAnthony64 wrote:Paper Mario fills that hole pretty good.

If that's the case, the N64 is worth about 3 cents.SuperAnthony64 wrote:Theres Space Invaders but besides that, shmups are a dime a dozen.

are you sure you understand what this phrase means? Because I'm pretty sure you're attempting to say the exact opposite of what you're saying.SuperAnthony64 wrote: Theres Space Invaders but besides that, shmups are a dime a dozen.

hahaha are you serious? It's not grammar. He's using an expression completely wrong. It's kind of like what you were saying about people who say "I ain't go no money" when they mean "I have no money" but they're actually saying the opposite. Same thing. He's trying to say the N64 has no shmups, but "dime a dozen" means plentiful.Inazuma wrote: Hey, get off his back. Some people could care less about grammar.
