I disagree that DS games look fine. They do not. They look very blurry. Like most things upsclaed on an LCD screen, it looks like shit. You can fix this by putting the 3DS is 1:1 compatibility mode, but the game ends up taking up maybe a 1/3 of the screen , and the rest is black. In my opinion do not get rid of your DS.

Does anyone have any complaints about the system? (Unless you've already posted your complaints.)

How well do the DS games run on it? (Or has anyone run into any issues thus far?)

Is there a slot for the 32X add-on?

Is the d-pad comfortable to use?

And how does that control stick/nub/thing handle?
1. The stylus placement is slightly awkward. In fact, no, it's very awkward. Not only is it on the back, like the original DS, but it's on the left hand side, which is awkward for me as a right hander.

2. I actually haven't tried yet.

3. Perhaps when they release the Nintendo 3DSi32XL Lite.

4. The d pad feels fine, just like the DSi d pad.

5. The control stick felt weird to me for all of 10 seconds, and then I really started to like it. It's very good.

Saw about 8 black and 5 blue yesterday at walmart around 6pm. Honestly I can't help but think wow, its not hot enough to sell out yet. $250 is alot of money for a portable gaming device, IMO. W

For those of you with one, does the joystick work on DS games as a dpad? I am guessing no, but figured I would ask.

Haven't tried it out yet myself but I have read that it IS backwards compatible with DS titles.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Yes, it will. I have seen youtube videos of people playing Super Mario 64 DS and Rayman DS with the circle/slide pad and it makes both games a lot more enjoyable.

In other news, both of my 3DS' are out for delivery. :)

Make sure you play with it for more than just a minute. I found yesterday that for the first couple of minutes my eyes couldn't quite figure out what to do but after that it became very comfortable and entertaining. Start with the 3D slider in a very low position and slowly work your way up.

I also found out that you NEVER want to just go ahead and boot a game up with the 3D slider already at max. Ugh.

Good tips Flake.

All I know is when I used a 3d point and shoot camera. In 2d or 3d mode the screen gave me a headache. I REALLY hope that this does not.

Yea, I definitely plan on keeping the 3D low at first and see how my eyes adjust to it.
