Holy shit. I am absolutely 100% pleased by these new characters. WAY better than I was anticipating. I can where you guys are coming from in being disappointed, but almost every one of these characters were ones I was rooting for from the beginning. This is awesome.

Rocket Raccoon is a curious choice, and I will admit that I was anti-Phoenix Wright being in this game, but wow. My dreams of Gene appearing have been officially crushed, but Iron Fist is there to pick up the pieces.

Yeah, that I did notice right away, and it really bugs me. I'm not fond of any of the women in the base game, and I was hoping for more.

In particular, I would've LOVED to have Ms. Marvel.

Also, they're not women, but I would've liked either Sentry or Blue Marvel as well. This game needs a stupidly powerful character. I know Hulk is there (and Phoenix really), but eh...

Yeah, the lack of females is a damn shame. They could have even just flat-out imported Roll and Saki from Tatsunoko vs Capcom and I would have been happier. Loved 'em both in TvC (and I think Saki could have made a suitable anti-Dark Phoenix). Oh well.

I don't think I'm gonna get it afterall. I'm not sure the new additions are big enough for me. (except fucking HAWKEYE!) but my team of Morrigan, Wolverine and Chun-Li or Felicia is already comfy enough to not dish out extra money for really one character I'll probably try.

Very true, and there were lots of choices for them to go along with the new people.

Hawkeye: Mockingbird or the Black Widow

Frank: Isabela

Iron Fist: Misty Knight or another of the hoties of the new heroes for hire.

Or for the villian side.

Skrull Queen to go along with Super Skrull.

Cooperhead or Lady Gorgon.

Or bring back that crazy little bitch B.B Hood from Darkstalkers or Queen Bee.

The list of chicas goes on and on Capcom.

Instead we get a game that was already lacking the chicas turning into more of a brofest.

Hell if they did a snk vs capcom game again, SNK could feild their entire team with Chicas.
