I do like the new homepage though, very nice.
Forum posts or blog posts?
I'm talking about forum posts. The text in posts looks faded. I couldn't place what was wrong until I saw a quote in a post. When I look a quote and then the text below it, there's a clear difference. Is it just me?
No, I noticed this too.

OK, good, it's not just me!

It looks faded, like my vision is blurry. Various other text on the forum has also changed to this faded black color.

I'm using the Subsilver2 forum layout and absolutely nothing has changed in it (including the phpbb logo and lack of Racket logo) so I don't know what you lot are on about.

New front page definitely looks fresher now. I'm usually only there briefly before heading to the forum so the ads aren't bugging me. Is it just me or is the '5 recent articles' thing not working yet? This would be the 'Best NEs under $10 etc. I can click and they change the picture, but they don't take me to the article.

FF 3.6.13.

Actually they do, but you have to click the large picture that comes up.

The alternate forum themes aren't quite working yet. I'm using Acidtech (it's similar in appearance to how the forums used to look back in 2008). For those of you taking issue with how the forums currently look, have you tried exploring the other themes to see if there might be one you prefer?

  :D :D   LOVE THE LAYOUT !!!

The font is a little faded, agree the default font color appears faded.
Maybe default of white background should get black font?

The Top Bar Links are beautiful, now easily spotted! The Front Page Active Topics instead of just View New Posts helps to prevent repeat or New Threads just to get that Front Page exposure. A very smart move removing View New Posts off the Front Page.

Perhaps the Active Topics in the Front page can be a little cleaner by just having the Subject Lines Titles with no dates in solid black? I think the Front page is great especially since its mainly the visitors who can now see all the Guides that are readily available.

Regular members can bookmark their favorite section such as View New Posts.
My Bookmark is View Active Topics in case I ever miss a couple days.
