Well, generally, games only become expensive if they are hidden gems, except for situations where the quantity is so low that it greatly outweighs the quality of the game. First off, Dead Island sold a fair amount, so people would be more inclined to buy the standard edition, which is very common. Second, everyone already knows about Dead Island, so it is not a sleeper hit like some gems. Third, Dead Island just isn't all that good. Nothing about the game really stands out, so I highly doubt that there will be any real demand for it later on; especially not for the collector's edition, no matter how rare it may be.itsamemario wrote:maybe the Dead Island special edition?
it was only available as a GS pre-order

I'll point to the new "Most expensive 3DO games" article, and notice how many of them are classified as terrible games.lisalover1 wrote:Third, Dead Island just isn't all that good. Re: Future Expensive Games
With the influx of new games andd how they sell decent amounts, I don't see many games from the 7th generation being too valuable. Though as a couple of people mentioned, those collectors sets will be worth something since they are limited editions. Maybe 20-30 years down the road there could be some changes but don't expect too much.

I love CK. It's one of those "it's so bad it's good" kinda games.brunoafh wrote:Man, I really want to play that game.Opa Opa wrote:Did you play Corpse Killer, KillerJuan?
